about

"Sun and Shade" is a collection of folk-power-pop-acoustic rock songs with echoes of Springsteen, Bryan Ferry, The Mavericks, Paul Westerberg, Dylan, Leonard Cohen, and The Beatles. Love and relationships in settings down on the Jersey shore and up in the mountains of Georgia are all explored with insight, catchy melodies, hooks, and humor in this debut release from New Jersey-based folk-rocker Mike Kosec.
